Jicaro Island is one of the Isletas (small islands), just a few minutes boat ride from the colonial town of Granada, Nicaragua. This private island getaway has spectacular views of Mombacho Volcano and other Isletas in Lake Nicaragua.
The island boasts 9 private two-story casitas of 60 square meters, each with plenty of space to relax, enjoy the lake views and get away from it all. All cabins have been built with Rainforest Alliance FSC certified cedar hardwood and feature a second story bedroom with a king size bed as well as a downstairs living area with access to a private balcony featuring lounge furniture and a hammock. The downstairs sitting area can be converted into a sleeping area for an additional person.
All nine casitas on the Island have lake views and are within a short walk from the pool and open-air restaurant area. Early morning coffee and late afternoon ¨sundowner¨ delivery service is available upon request. We can certainly understand you might be tempted to take advantage of this, never wanting to leave your hammock on your private deck overlooking the lake.
